In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent opened up about her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, alleging that he made a insensitive comment while she was in labor with their daughter, Ocean.
Kent said that Emmett told her she looked like she was "part of an exorcism" after she was administered an IV and passed out before giving birth. She said that he was "so uncomfortable" with the process that he actually left the delivery room and called for someone else to come sit with her.
Kent's allegations are just the latest in a series of negative stories about Emmett. In March, the Los Angeles Times published a lengthy exposé that accused him of sexual misconduct, mistreating his workers, and failing to pay his debts. Emmett has denied all of the allegations.
Kent and Emmett split in October 2021 after five years together. They share custody of their daughter, Ocean, who was born in March 2021.
In her interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kent said that she is still healing from her relationship with Emmett. She said that she is "grateful" for her daughter, but that she is also "traumatized" by what she went through.
"I'm still healing," she said. "I'm still traumatized. I'm still trying to figure out who I am without him."
